New York, NY Oct., 2009 - MyCelx Technologies has been named a Finalist for the prestigious Platts Global Energy Awards. Judges selected MyCelx in the category of Energy Engineering Project of the Year from a record number of nominations. Other finalists for the award include Shell Global Solutions, YANSAB, Entergy and Mirant Corporations. Platts Global Energy Awards, now in their 11th year, recognize significant contributions to the energy industry.

In choosing MyCelx, judges evaluated their produced water treatment at Anadarko natural gas installations in Vernal, UT. MyCelx enabled Anadarko to treat water at high flow rates for an outstanding ROI and continued savings.

Winners of the 2009 Global Energy Awards will be announced on December 3, 2009 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
