With a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of North Carolina, Hari is an expert in oily water separation processes and a published author with scientific and technical papers to his credit.
At MyCelx, he manages the application and technical services division worldwide, working with clients as diverse as British Petroleum, General Motors, SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation), and Toyota.
Before joining MyCelx, Hari developed extensive expertise in membrane separations, absorbents, and gravity separation techniques. He is now also an expert in the unique MyCelx oil removal separation process. His broad expertise allows him to develop optimal engineered oil removal solutions for MyCelx clients.
Hari is a professional member the North American Membrane Society, the American Filtration and Separation Society, and SNAME (the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers).
Anand Narayanan
Engineering and Operations Manager
With a refinery background, Andy focuses on the practical aspects of technical engineering. He has helped ground MyCelx solutions in operational excellence, spearheading both the ISO 9001-2000 certification for the company as well as the Lloyd’s Register, U.K. equipment performance certification. He holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering with a specialty in molecular modeling and computational fluid dynamics.
As operations manager, Andy manages day-to-day operations of MyCelx. His responsibilities include over-seeing manufacturing, production engineering, purchasing and shipping, safety training, and training of personnel.
Andy’s unique qualifications allow him to blend the world of research and development with practical applications that help today’s companies take control of their oil removal needs. Andy is driven to provide the best possible operational and logistical solutions to MyCelx customers.
