MyCelx’s Clean Water Technology operates on the principle of chemical cohesion, which enables hydrocarbons to bind instantaneously to MyCelx infused filters. The result is the permanent removal of oil and water soluble organics from produced water from 0-10 ppm, well below US Environmental Protection Agency standards of 29 ppm.

With a small footprint, less weight and maximum flexibility for operators, MyCelx addresses a critical need for environmentally sustainable water treatment in the oil and gas industry as well as the removal of hydrocarbons from process waste water used in refineries.  This allows water to be recycled and re-used, which is essential in arid areas such as the Middle East and Australia.
